Protect the Ground. Catch the Mess. Carry It Away.
The KingCamp Hexagonal Fire Pit Mat is a versatile outdoor heat-protection mat designed for use beneath compatible fire pits, camp stoves, grills, and other elevated outdoor cooking equipment.
Made from fiberglass fabric with heat-resistant silicone coating on both sides, it helps protect the surface underneath from sparks, hot ash, grease, and everyday cooking mess.
A unique snap-button design lets the mat work in two ways: lay it flat for broad ground coverage, or snap up the six corners to create raised edges that help contain ash and debris. When you're finished, additional snaps near the handles allow the mat to fold into its own carry-style storage bag.
2-IN-1 MAT & CARRY BAG DESIGN
One product, two functions.
Use it as a heat-resistant ground mat during cooking or fire-pit use, then fold and snap it into a convenient carry bag when it's time to pack up.
No separate storage pouch is required.
Flat Mode:
Provides broad coverage beneath compatible outdoor equipment.
Raised-Edge Mode:
Snap the six corners together to create a shallow tray that helps contain ash, embers, and debris.
Carry Mode:
Use the dedicated snaps near the handles to secure the folded mat for easier transport and storage.
HEAT-RESISTANT SILICONE FIBERGLASS CONSTRUCTION
The mat uses a fiberglass fabric base with dual-sided silicone coating for heat resistance and outdoor durability.
-
Recommended heat resistance: Up to approximately 1022°F / 550°C
-
Fiberglass melting point: Approx. 1382°F / 750°C
The layered material is designed to help shield the surface underneath from radiant heat, sparks, ash, and light grease splatter during normal outdoor use.
RAISED HEXAGONAL EDGE DESIGN
Six corner snaps transform the flat mat into a shallow hexagonal tray.
The raised perimeter helps keep:
-
Ash
-
Embers
-
Charcoal debris
-
Grease
-
Dirt
from spreading across the surrounding campsite or patio.
After use, the contained debris can be carried away more conveniently once everything has completely cooled.
COMPACT 31.5" × 27.3" COVERAGE
The hexagonal mat measures approximately:
31.5 × 27.3 in / 80 × 69.3 cm
Each side of the hexagon measures approximately:
15.7 in / 40 cm
The footprint is suitable for many compact fire pits, camping stoves, portable grills, and similar outdoor setups.
ULTRALIGHT 10.6 OZ DESIGN
At only approximately:
10.6 oz / 300 g
the mat adds very little weight to your camping setup.
It folds down compactly and can be carried using the integrated handles, making it practical for:
-
Car camping
-
RV travel
-
Picnics
-
Overlanding
-
Campsite cooking
-
Backyard fire pits
BUILT-IN CARRY HANDLES
Reinforced handles on both sides make the mat easier to move and pack.
Once the mat is folded and snapped into carry mode, the handles provide a simple way to transport it without needing a separate storage bag.
Always allow the mat, ash, and equipment to cool completely before handling or packing.
WATER- & GREASE-RESISTANT SURFACE
The silicone-coated surface helps resist water, grease, and common campsite messes.
After use, wipe or rinse away dirt and residue as appropriate, then allow the mat to dry completely before storage.
The coated construction also helps reduce absorption compared with untreated fabric mats.
DURABLE FOR REPEATED OUTDOOR USE
Fiberglass reinforcement and silicone coating provide a durable structure designed for repeated folding, outdoor transport, and campsite use.
Finished edges and reinforced handle areas help improve durability around high-contact points.

-
Keep open flames and continuous direct fire off the mat whenever possible.
-
Do not leave hot equipment unattended.

Check local fire restrictions before using any open-flame equipment.
